I received this as a Christmas present and am thrilled with it. It is a very solid stainless pan with what is an excellent non-stick surface. Eggs literally slide off the pan! Clean up is a snap with a brush, soap and water. I hope that over time it continues to function as well as it does after the first month.

After 6 months of use the non-stick coating is pealing off and I can not speak with anyone from Cuisinart about replaccing as these have life replacement. The 12" seems to be holding up, but, I don't use that as often. I am very unhappy with the purchase of 2 of these 8" nonstick skillets and want them replaced.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
