I really like this skillet my only problem is, the first time I used it it got scratched!!! I only use silicone or wooden utensils and was very careful with it. The only thing I can think would cause the scratches is the salt I seasoned our eggs with.

Cuisinart stands up to it's promises! I had bought this pan earlier, and found that it had a defect that resulted in the non-stick surface peeling off the edges. I called and Cuisinart sent out a new one immediately - didn't even want the old one shipped back. The new one is great - I think the defect was a fluke - the rest of my pans have never had that problem.
