Need a beater paddle

I bought the smaller bowl as my 6 quart is too big for most standard baking recipes, just smearing the contents against the sides of the bowl rather than mixing. However, the 3 quart bowl only has a whisk attachment. Batter gets clogged into the spokes. The 3 quart needs a paddle attachment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This was included with my KA Pro 5 Plus mixer I purchased before Christmas in a local store. Unfortunately, the whip itself was not in the package. Customer service sent me one. I finally got around to using it and it won't fit onto the mixer. It's as if the hole in the whip attachment is a tiny bit too small. It looks the same as my other beaters but it will not slide onto the mixer. I did get good service when I contacted KA about it missing from the package (since I had purchased at a store that doesn't take returns). I don't know whether this would end up working better at whipping things than my smaller mixer, so I don't know whether it is worth the money to buy separately. I had read some reviews from people saying it still doesn't whip up cream and meringue well, but if I could try it I might improve my review and even say I recommend it to friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a couple of weeks ago and really like it. Good to use on my 6quart mixer for smaller items like beating 2 egg whites. Combi-whip works well. Glad I bought this.

Whip Hits Bowl!

This came with my 5.5 Bowl-Lift from Sam’s Club. The Combi-Whip hits the 3 quart bowl on one side. I don’t want to keep playing around with the mixer’s adjustment screw for this because the other attachments for the 5.5 bowl works fine. Also, the bowls spring latch/pin pops in then pops up fitting itself but I think it’s crooked. Defective.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great option for smaller batches

I was thinking about buying a second and smaller KitchenAid for smaller batches, then I saw this. Problem solved and only one mixer on the counter! I highly recommend this. I only wish there was a paddle to go twit it too.
