However this is my second mega and it has the same issue
color pixel band appeared on first one then got a refurbished second one and I have a small pixel white spot this time in the center of my screen.
Not sure whether to try for a third one pain to reload all my apps and games.
Otherwise I love the screen size for games and all else.
Fits in my pocket very light weight.

I've had nothing but Samsung phones for over five years now. For value, features, design, and user compatibility it's the name I look for and not only for phones. Many of my household electronics are Samsung. I always consider Samsung first for electronics!

Acceptable battery life, Great features
Although this device is listed as a telephone, a number of apps consider it a tablet and limit features or functions. i.e. no telephone deposits to my bank, or Directv. This may be due to version of Android, too new for apps.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display
Cons: fragile screen

This is by far the best phone I have ever owned. Large, easy to use, great functionality. A phone with the functionality of a tablet. Best of both.

This model by the Galaxy franchise is the worst I've experienced so far. I've had the S2 & S3, so I was really excited to try the Mega. However, my excitement fizzled wheni began using it. The screen res is horrible, the devices crashes, alarms go off at any given time (which i have not set). At this point, I am waiting to be able to purchase a new phone. I will, however, make my next phone a Samsung because I love their brand. I just think that they could have done better with the Mega.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I can't believe that I picked my first mobile device and got it right the first time. This device is fun,functional and fantastic! You will not be sorry if you purchase this phone/tablet.

My eyes were getting a little weak with age and this Mega was the answer. I can see most everything without my reading glasses and it's still an awesome looking phone. There is so much room for anything you could think of to put on it with room left over... I also had thought about getting a tablet but with the Mega I no longer need one, it does it all..
