had this for about three years now and it does what it is suppose to do with no problems. this is a basic unit and is a good brand which is why i bought. compressor will run a lot on newer units and thats normal because it takes less energy to run longer than for the compressor to kick on and off more often.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My wife and I needed to buy an affordable refrigerator/freezer to replace our previous one that had been giving us problems for several months. I was very glad to find this product from GE at our local family owned appliance shop. It looks very nice and the capacity is the perfect size for the two of us. My wife also mentioned that she can see the contents better in this model than the previous one. She said that because the previous unit was a side by side design, she couldn't see onto the top shelves at all. So it looks great, didn't break our budget, and has the space we need. We are both really glad to have this new refrigerator in our kitchen!

Not cooling or shutting off after 3 years, has always made strange and loud noises!
