Bought as a smaller second refrigerator to use in basement. It works ok so far but is VERY noisy. Also, we have to be careful when shutting the main door. If it is closed just a LITTLE to hard, the freezer door will pop open and ajar just enough to be unnoticed unless you check it. Overall not real good value for the money spent.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought all three GE appliances 2 months ago. We bought Refrigerator , Gas Range and Dishwasher and all have had a problem!

I bought this refrigerator a month ago. We had a GE refrigerator originally that was 32 years old! It still worked but was an energy user so we decided to get a new GE refrigerator because the old one was such a good product. The new one is the perfect size and the stainless look is so nice. The energy it uses is so much less and that makes us feel good about being conservative. I really like the glass shelves and the wide shelf on the door that can hold a large container of milk, etc. We love GE products and that they are still made here in the USA. A quality product and great features. Change is good. A new refrigerator. Same company. We are very happy.
