Just what I was looking for!!

This was my first move that I was required to purchase appliances. I wasn't looking for anything fancy (no bells and whistles). This fridge fit the bill. The price was within my budget, it's simple yet estheticly pleasing, and I was told I have the option of adding an ice maker if I choose to later down the line.
I would recommend this to a friend!

46 Decibels

Just installed. And as the reviews I've read have complained of the sound level, its 46 decibels three feet from the front and 56 at the back. My four star rating is due to the lack of individual frig and freezer temp controls. However, size dictated this purchase and only the economy line would fit.

Really like this refrigerator

Bought this refrigerator three months ago; we needed one that would fit into a tight space, thus our choices were limited to size/design. We knew GE was the only manufacturer we would buy, due to reliability of past purchases we have made. To date we really like this refrigerator!
The only reason we gave 4 stars (and not 5) is having to avoid hitting our head on the freezer door handle while reaching to the middle top shelf.

Noisy!!

Old refrigrator quit due to advanced age. Couldn't hear it when running. The Ge is little noisy when running. After it quit's running there is lot of gurgling sounds coming from it. Very noisy, Wakes me up of a night sometimes. Like to have a quite refrigrator like the old refrigrator was.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
