Disappointing.

The design is not good- the shelves do not go all the way to the back of the refridg and things fall off the back. This may have saved the company some money- smaller shelves, less glass to buy, but it is a headache for the consumer. Also there is condensation on the inside of the refridg. Water puddles on the top shelf; and there is frost in the freezer. I am constantly having to wipe off the bottoms of food containers and wipe off the shelf.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Freezer fan to noisey.

Since I have other GE appliances, of which I am very satisfied with, I thought the refrigerator would be the same. But, NO. The freezer fan made such a high pitch noise that I could not stand it. The repair man was out 3 times but no matter what he did, it would not quiet down.
So, I took it back and got different refrigerator. Not a GE.

I got this a few months ago, It works wonderfully, its very spacious inside, it is a joy to receive and have a Refridgerator so nice

Efficient and Good Looking Too

Keeps foods cold and holds an even temperature. Easy to keep clean. Lots of storage space on shelves and door. Nice shelf in freezer for easy storage. Frozen foods stay froze (never too hard or soft). Runs quiet and is energy efficient. Never a problem with ice build up or condensation from humidity. The slate finish is very attractive and no fingerprints. Have had this unit for 3 months and am very pleased with this purchase.

Great Looks, quiet, and lots of room !!

Just had this dropped off today. The slate color finish looks better than any color out there. And since it is a neutral color, it will look good with anything. The very modern looks are appreciated. The styling and color combo make this fridge look better than those twice it's price or better. I almost got the stainless model, but now I'm glad I didn't. The slate finish is somewhat flat instead of glossy, so it doesn't show any fingerprints or smudges. It runs very quiet, which I also appreciate. What little noise that I do hear is very dampened and isn't at all annoying. The layout of the inside of the refrigerator portion is exceptional. No egg trays on the inside of the door makes more room for other things. I like my eggs in the box they came in, thank you. The shelves are clear and can be clearly seen through, as are the bottom drawers, making it much easier to find what you are looking for. The controls are conveniently located front-center-top of the refrigerator portion with easy to read markings. The freezer portion is has very generous room inside as do the door mounted shelves. The price was very reasonable compared to other makes and models and the store I bought it from had it on sale as well at the time. So, all in all, I'm very pleased with everything about this refrigerator and although I've tried to, I can't think of a single thing I would change. This is a very nice looking refrigerator, both inside and out and the slate color is outstanding. All of these great things are why I'm giving this fridge an excellent rating and would recommend this to all.
