Great LOOK

I'm fine with this refrigerator. It has a reasonable amount of room and flexible storage arrangements. I don't like that it is noisy when it runs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We purchased the suite of slate GE appliances because of the GE brand name, as well as the appearance. My wife and I weren't too keen on stainless appliances, I didn't want white, and she didn't want black. The GE Slate models look best of all colors in our opinion and provide a great value when comparing prices to other brands.

I bought this refrigerator at the end of December to replace a really old backup refrigerator. So far I have had no problems and am happy with it.

Nice fridge

Nice refrigerator, very pretty. This fridge has door storage that we like. Other brands had this clear plastic cover on the door storage components that looked very flimsy. This fridge does need better leveling. Only the front feet adjust, and they move too easily. It tends to rock after being opened a few times.

We purchased this in Dec. 2015. At first it kept our freezer foods very well and it hardly ran at all. Now in April, we are questioning it's performance as it runs often and for long periods of time. It just shut off now after 1/2 hour of running.

It is normal for newer refrigerators to run significantly more than models of the past because of their increased efficiency. It was found that the refrigerator kicking on used more energy than if it ran longer so the newer models can run almost continuously to help with efficiency.
