I have had this fridge for about 2 months. It seems to be very efficient. The only thing I don't really like is the shelves on the door are pretty deep which means the shelves in the fridge itself are not. That is the one thing I really do not like.

after almost 20 years I decided to replace my old tired fridge and after a lot of research and not wanting to spend an arm and a leg on a fancy fridge, I went with this GE in Slate! I'm single and live in an apartment so I dident need all the fancy gadgets that come on the more expensive models.
It does a good job and it is beautiful, plus I have already noticed a slight drop in my electric bill since this fridge is soooo much more efficient!!!

Love my fridge, but...

Love this refrigerator. Had my previous one for 24 years and have already noticed a big savings in my electric bill since I replaced it with this one. Unfortunately, I received one (1-100 chances) where the seal was not complete, so the freezer frosts over quickly in the humid weather. Because it is now winter, this won't happen again until next year. So, now I have to wait until next year to have service come out and verify the problem before they will replace it. I hope this happens before the 1 year warranty expires! Very bummed about that, but otherwise, it's wonderful.
