We have owned the refrigerator for only three months but it has been good so far. The black color does not show marks and it runs fairly quiet. No problems with the temperatures and the shelves are easy to move around.

Nice color but...

I had to buy this size because of my space, and find it is not functioning as well as previous refrigerators. Frost in freezer, and food lasting shorter time in refrigerator compartment. I knew it didn't come with freezer light [come on, GE] but really miss this feature. Door shelving lacks flexibility.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Low noise level

Purchased this GE top-mount -can't get over the quiet noise level- after the loud noise I purchased the week before from another store.(lemon). Very satisfied with the features. Would recommend to all! 1st time buyer.

I purchased this refrigerator a couple of months ago to replace another slightly larger one of a different brand. I am satisfied with its performance except that it doesn't have quite as much shelf space on the door and it makes strange noises sometimes when the pressure inside the system is rebalancing.
I would recommend this to a friend!
