We had nearly the same GE that was over 20 years old. It was still working, but we wanted something energy efficient. Got this model and love it!

Condenser fan very loud,2 incandescent bulbs Vs Led, Center shelf rail in fresh food does not go as high as side rails thus very tight spacing with split shelves.

One of the best features is the fact that the freezer section is separate from the frig section so I don't have to worry about my produce freezing.
