Making the freezer on the bottom...wonderful, especially if you like chest type freezers.

Nowhere was I warned that it would take 24 hours for the refrigerator to get cold after turning it on. Customers should be warned as I could have made plans instead of loosing a lot of food. Finger prints are terrible and have to clean it once or twice a day. Found I could fit more food in my smaller refrigerator than this one. As a whole I am disappointed and would not buy again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Tons of storage, lighting is on que, sleek stainless outer shell, fits perfectly into the custom built cabinet frame & it's counter depth.

Has stopped working 3 times now

First the control panel, then a bad fan, and now my doors are offset and the fridge won't seal. Worst experience I have ever had. I have all GE appliances but this fridge is a total lemon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bright interior

Pros: Lots of light in the interior, generally quiet (ice maker is the exception). Cons: Counter depth product reduces shelf depth and freezer compartment depth. Ice maker on door reduces refrigerator compartment depth. Product has been trouble free so far. Primary reason for choosing GE and this product was the slate color.

Very Nice Refrigerator

I bought this refrigerator because I wanted a coutner depth fridge, with bottom freezer and I was tired of the stainless steel. LOVE the slate look AND IT NEVER SMUDGES! This fridge always looks clean. Bought the Adora dishwasher in slate as well - absolutely love these appliances and plan to save up for the Adora gas stove in slate. American Made.
