Best Refrigerator I have ever owned

Move a lot, always get new appliances, always have ice maker issues, live in PHX, use a ton of ice, not a single problem with this one. Best refrigerator I have ever owned. Very solid quality everything, great technology. Makes a variety of weird sounds but does not bother me. Love the Slate finish, no fingerprints!

Great Counter Depth Refrigerator!

This refrigerator makes great use of the counter depth refrigerator space! The lighting is awesome inside the refrigerator; and, the refrigerator looks very stylish and sleek on the outside! The refrigerator is a tad loud...not sure if it's because of start-up (refrigerator installed 2 days ago) or if that's "normal" for this model. Only giving 4 stars because of the noise and because I've only had it for a few days.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Flawed beauty

Bought this model because it fits in our kitchen, has magnet-friendly doors and replaces another GE Profile which died after 12 years. Love the way the interior is organized as well as the bottom freezer. The fan is quite loud and seems to be getting louder. The in-door icemaker hurls the cubes out of its box and broke two glasses before we switched to plastic. The water dispenser drips water and the catchment tray is flat and an annoyance as well. Butter shelf should have been included for the price. Despite gripes feel it's a pretty good refrigerator.

Very disapointed. The unit appears to be very well built, but it is much too loud. In a home with an open floor plan, it can easily be heard in the living area.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have always had a side by side refridgerater- I didn't know what I was missing.
I don't throw away food anymore easy to see everything and, everything is always at your finger tips

The installers brought it in and the refrigerator worked perfectly. It cooled down and made ice within 24 hours. More than enough ice for the two of us. Great led lighting inside, adaquate shelving, well designed. I have all GE appliances and it matches, keeping the kitchen looking good.

Noisy at times. The first time ice dropped I thought there were gun shots outside my house. The next time it sounded like firecrackers going off in my house. None of my old refrigerators made these noises with the ice maker. It also makes popping noises. I like the counter depth.
