Purchased recently and did not want stainless steel that smudges. Its a great color and they have all other appliances to match

We bought these a few months ago and are not happy. You can't imagine how easy the slate scratches. I guess we should have stuck to our rule about not buying a new product until we could read at least 10 reviews.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Had to return 1st refrigerator delivered. Service call deemed it defective. Doors did not line up properly.

I have had this model for a month. I love the slate finish and the counter depth feature. It would be nice if the deli drawer was split into two instead of one long drawer so that you don't have to open both doors to get to what you want. My biggest dislike is the noise of the icemaker. I have a quiet home. When I first heard this racket I thought someone broke into the house. I expect better quality from GE.

Major upgrade over my 20 year old GE refrigetator

I love all the new features, and especially the good looks of the unit. All my guests ask me when I'm going to upgrade the rest of my kitchen appliances to match :) The only reason I did not give this unit a 5 star rating is the noise. My old unit was virtually silent. You can certainly hear this one - it's not an annoying noise, it's just a noise that wasn't present before in my kitchen.

I bought this about 3 months ago. I am very pleased with it except the water drips after you pull the glass away from the water dispenser.

Color is great - it's different and the doors hide fingerprints well. The ice maker does take a lot of space on the door - but not much you can do about that. I thought it would be safe to use a magnet on the door - beware .... it scratches! Overall, happy with it.
