It’s been a week since we got the fridge. It has been great so far! Quiet and the size is suitable for 2 person. If you need something simple and doesn’t cost you a lot, this is for you. Very pleased!

Just the Right Size

I would have given 5 stars but for the fact that the bottom door seals so tightly that the unit rolls forward when opening it. The freezer compartment opens quite easily as it should. I intentionally purchased a fridge with no ice maker since I never use them.

Do Not Buy this Model

I bought this model on 9/23/19. It died completely on 11/13/19! Unrepairable according to the GE service man - who was finally able to show up on 12/3/19 - but that's another reason to avoid anything under the GE warranty.....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good size for tiny kitchen

Love the recessed handles.Not a fancy product but just what I needed. Plenty roomy. Shelves are coated wire. I added shelf liners . Keeping my foods cold. Freezer is quite spacious too.

Great sub product from GE!

I work for a apartment community and we use these refrigerators in all of our units. Most people are unaware Hot Point is apart of GE so its great to know there is a more affordable product still produced by a great company!

Bells and whistles are great on toys and fun at parties, but, when it comes to refrigerators and freezers- I just need them to do what they are created for. Hotpoint provides an excellent product at an amazing price. Please thank the team that shows up and makes it great! Live WELLthy! TEMPRA
