Very nice features and design

I bought this refrigerator less than a month ago and it has worked great. The recessed handles and wire shelves are just what I wanted.

Better than I expected

Moisture buildup around freezer compartment, I called and they are sending me another gasket but in late November. Bad quality control, bad gasket. Compressor running more than I expected

Hi there - We are very sorry that your refrigerator has moisture buildup in the freezer section and that the compressor is running more than you expected it would. This must be discouraging and we can understand your disappointment.
We're glad to hear that you were able to schedule a gasket replacement. To help reduce to the potential for frost, please make sure there is proper clearance to the air supply and vents in the freezer to improve circulation. The gaskets will also last longer with regular cleaning of warm, soapy water. After cleaning, apply paraffin wax or petroleum jelly to the door gaskets and hinges at the hinge side to help keep the gaskets from sticking and bending out of shape.
Keep in mind that the new high efficiency compressor may run faster and longer than your old refrigerator and you may hear a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound while it is operating. This is normal.

Large Capacity / and see-through produce storage

my landlord delivered this a couple weeks ago... the hotpoint I had previously had a good life of 13 years... I love the color , size, and QUIET now.

Roomy and Convenient

I bought this for the garage to mainly store water, soda, liquids, extra frozen food. It is convenient, and holds a lot. My only issue is it is a little loud while running. I can hear it in the living room. The price was less expensive than other brands.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We can understand your concern regarding the sounds you are hearing and are happy to help! Newer refrigerators sound different from older refrigerators. Modern refrigerators have more features and use newer technology. Please take a look at page 19 in your manual for specifics on sounds.

Good, basic fridge

I bought this for a rental apartment. Hotpoint makes reliable fridges, which is important to me. Thought it's 17.5 cubic ft, the exterior is about the size of 14 and 15 cubic ft fridges so it fits in the tight space and the tenant have a larger fridge. Also, the wait for delivery was a lot less than a lot of other fridges. Very pleased.
I would recommend this to a friend!
