SIMPLE NO FRILLS MACHINE

After fighting continued failures of our high end model, it finally let us down for the last time. So far this unit is doing just fine. Not burdened with fancy gadgets and under engineered cooling system to meet energy star standards, it's simple straight forward cooling system maintains constant temperatures and is meeting our needs nicely. Time will tell but so far it is just what we wanted, a reliable refrigerator.

It works as a garage fridge

It is functional, the width is good for the size. It is loud so would not want inside the house but is fine for a garage fridge. No idea on longevity. This is a back up fridge I feel I need due to poor longevity refrigeration products now coming from China and Korea. Used to be a fridge would work until replaced. Lucky now to get 5 years on something brand new!

I like the wire shelves the most. I had glass for my last two refrigerators and spent extra time constantly wiping small water spots. Wire aerates much better and is better looking.
