Needed a same day pick-up of a refrigerator, but did not know about Hotpoint. This was the only style in stock, but I did some online research and once I found out it was a GE product, I didn't hesitate purchasing it. Very pleased with performance.

Ice maker

I was able to purchase ice maker separately and install myself easily. Down side took up some room in Freezer. Also freezer does not defrost very quickly in defrost cycle

So far so good. Keeps good temp. Not noisy. Plenty of room. No extra stuff to get in the way (ice maker, water dispenser, etc)

This refrigerator is almost the same as the GE I am replacing and I love it. Runs quietly,plenty of space. Good value for the price.
