This size of bag is perfect for all kinds of food. And it will last a long time. I have sealed walnuts, and have had them for over 3 yrs, and when I used them they tasted as fresh as when I put them in the bags.
I would recommend this to a friend!

we have been using Foodsavers for at least 12 years. We have worn out one and are on our second one. Can't imagine not having one. It has saved us a lot of money over the years, since we try to buy in bulk from large warehouse type stores (Sam's, Costco, etc.)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I can use The #1 Vacuum Sealing System I got in my refrigerator fresh herbs, my food is fresh longer. I love FoodSaver.

Food Saver bags are perfect for the job. They are sturdy and really preserve freshness. Do not bother to try generic bags. They do not compare. I especially like the ability to cut a bag to whatever size I need at any time. I really enjoy rolls. .
