This thing is awesome!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is now an essential item in my kitchen. I never knew a rice cooker could be used for so much more than just rice! I've made brown and yellow rice, chicken and rice, homemade oatmeal and some yummy lentil soup. This machine does as promised and cooks to perfection! The measuring marks on the inside and outside of the cooker bowl make cooking so much easier. Clean up is easy too. I had no problems washing the cooker bowl and the included measuring cup and spoon. Ever ounce of food just washed right off without me having to scrub at all. And I simply adore the keep warm feature! It keeps your food warm automatically and doesnt dry it out or make the food hard. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review of this item. I would gladly pay for this item though. It has truly become one of my favorite kitchen appliances.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rice cooker by Oster is a quick and easy way to cook rice. Just set it and walk away. You can also steam vegetables while cooking the rice so dinners are healthy and easy. It is also easy and quick clean up. I use it several times a week. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an easy to use rice cooker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the available features on this product and the ease of use with just pushing a button for different settings. I love that the lid seals because my other rice cooker just has a drop in lid and so when the water is boiling it escapes all over the counter. With this, everything is contained. However, when I went to cook brown rice on the brown rice setting it didn't seem to cook my rice all the way through. It was still very crunchy and hard as I ate it. I loved the steamed vegetable option though, and my baby carrots came out very soft. They did taste a little like the interior of the pot, but that's probably because it was brand new.

Great Tasting Rice-Confusing Directions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rice cooker cooked the rice properly. It cooked it quickly with minimal effort. However, the directions were confusing for someone who had never used a rice cooker. It was unclear how to open the lid which caused the steam to burn my fingers. It needs to be more clearly labeled. Also, the directions need to state that the rice cooker should not be placed under a cabinet. The steam caused the cabinets above it to become wet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this rice cooker to review. It looks great in the counter and cooks rice well. We have been pleased with the outcome. No crunchy rice, all cooked through just as we wanted! The digital settings make it easy to use and the 20 cup capacity makes cooking large or small amounts an easy task. Cleaning is easy and while my first intention was to put it in the cabinet, the aesthetics are so good that leaving it on the counter is what I have done.

The product is of great quality and rice always came out nice and fluffy. I also use a lot of brown rice and this cooker had a setting for that. Very helpful!
