Nice Product, Cheaply Made

I recently purchased this item to replace one of the same which had broken after about a year's service. It works well, but has a low service life. Funny thing is, I'd be readily willing to pay much more for a higher quality product of longer duration, but none exists that I can find. I suppose I'll have to start doing what I've done with other products, such as a Cuisinart coffee bean grinder I use and buy these in pairs; so I'll have a backup to use once the primary one fails - at which time I'll order another backup.
Pros: it works well.
Cons: it's cheaply made and doesn't last.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I use the device for trimming my hair in the front and sides between hair cuts. I do this mostly without the attachments. I also use it for trimming body hair, even though Phillips has other devices made for this. Again, this very inexpensive device does what I want.
Pros: very low price and the trimmer works pretty well.
Cons: one of the attachments seems kind of hokey.

Like it, but battery seems to run down too fast without warning it is getting low. Cannot use it when plugged in, recharging.
Nicely designed and easy to change attachments. Keep up the great designing.

Good, but always the same problem

Have owned and used Norelco/Phillips beard trimmers for 20+ years. They work well but always have the same problem. The beard trimming attachement that has the sliding depth adjustment, always "wears out". The detent will not hold after a few months use so you have to hold with your hand or, tape it in place. It's because there is just a cheap plastic detent mechanism that wears over time. A better, more resilient design would be appreciated.
Pros: good selection of trimmer heads, rechargeable, compact
Cons: detent on beard trimming head always wears out.

I liked the range of attachments. It has variety of trimming lengths for a hair cut. Has a good shaving attachment. Pricing is 4-5$ more I guess . But still a good product.
Pros: multiple attachment
Cons: some attachment are delicate and fragile plactic, pricing is 4-5$ more i guess
Good diversity it this shaver is able to do. No sort of organizational plan built in, all the heads are just loose in a bag. Runs well, but feels a little cheap. Good but not exceptional.
Pros: various functions, lives up to what i need it for
Cons: no organization for accessories
I would recommend this to a friend!
