The wife's model FPSTMC3321 food chopper has stopped working because the safety switch doe not engage when you put the container lid on the machine and lock it into place. Is there an adjustment or do we need to replace it? She liked this one better than others when it worked. I could not find any other site to ask so I used this one. When working it would get a high rating.

Great chopper!

This is a neat and compact chopper. I use it for many things when I don't want to pull out the full size processor, and it works very well. With the 3 cup bowl, I mainly use it for small jobs, but it is pretty quick and efficient. Plus, it is very easy to clean and easy to store. The only problem I have is that you always have to align the lid to get it to work, which is a good design. It was just very hard to get the lid aligned well, until I get used to it. When I first got my chopper, I almost thought that I got a defective one...

Quick and Easy to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This electric mini food chopper is so easy to use. It has a 3 cup capacity and both high and low speed. I sliced zucchini in about 3/4' slices and put in the chopper. Attach the cover and lock in place on the base. I used the low setting and it chopped perfectly for making my zucchini bread. I also tried whole pecans and the pieces were perfect. The stainless steel blades are very sharp and cut excellent. It also comes with a whisk for egg whites. Both attachments come in very handy since I back often. Clean up is easy, just remove the blade or whisk, wash the cup and top along with the attachments in hot soapy water. I like the size, it's large enough to chop 3 full cups which is plenty for a recipe, it's easy to clean and small enough to not take up much storage room. I am very pleased with the quality, the construction and the ease of use of this Oster mini food chopper.

Bought this product 5 years ago! It's due to operator error that it needs to be replaced. Not built for smoothies....got the motor wet, oops!

Years ago I picked one up at a garage sale (never been opened) Well, I have dropped it multiple times and it has several cracks. This weekend I decided it was time to buy a new one. I used the older one for at least 15 years. I would say that I got my $3.00 worth!! I can't imagine this little tool not in my kitchen or anyone's kitchen!! Very pleased!!

I have been using the Oster Mini chopper making fresh salsas and dip. My family and I have loved it. It is easy to use, easy to clean and compact for storage. I'm looking forward to using it during the gardening season chopping and preparing relishes. Disclaimer: I received this product to try and review. I have been thrilled that I did. It is the perfect answer for dips and salsa when you wouldn't want to use a large food processor. Love it, love it, love it!

Time-saving Tool!

The Oster chopper is a helpful tool in the kitchen. I don't have a lot of kitchen gadgets, but I like to make my own sauces and dressings. The Oster chopper is a great tool for making pesto. It handles garlic with ease as well as rougher items like nuts. The dripping hole is a good idea for adding ingredients midstream while not having to take off the lid. I also think the appearance is stylish and the safety measures are helpful. The cleanup was also very simple. The only issue I have had is when the mixture settles at the bottom during the chopping, sometimes it raises the blade so that it is no longer cutting at the very bottom of the bowl anymore. I had to take the blade out and clear the area below so the blade would cut at the bottom again. I received the chopper as a sample in order to review the product.

I love this product! I have been using it almost daily since receiving it, and I just keep finding new ways to use it. It is sleek and quiet, and it couldn't be easier to use. Prior to this model, I had not seen one with attachments like this one has, but now that I've been using these, I am so happy with them and the convenience they offer. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite kitchen tools.
