Worked well... for about three months

I had to toss my Oster Mini Food Chopper in the trash last night. The motor went out on it will I was making salsa... For me, this investment was a waste of money. It was really disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this chopper!

I love this product! I have been using it almost daily since receiving it, and I just keep finding new ways to use it. It is sleek and quiet, and it couldn't be easier to use. Prior to this model, I had not seen one with attachments like this one has, but now that I've been using these, I am so happy with them and the convenience they offer. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite kitchen tools.

Subpar chopper

I bought this chopper about a month ago and was really excited to use it. However, when I got it home, it wasn't as nice as it looked. It looks cheap and the plastic buttons appear as if they won't last long. Using the chopper was tedious because everytime I placed an item into to chop and pressed the button, the blade would pop out of place. I was not impressed with it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Time-saving Tool!

The Oster chopper is a helpful tool in the kitchen. I don't have a lot of kitchen gadgets, but I like to make my own sauces and dressings. The Oster chopper is a great tool for making pesto. It handles garlic with ease as well as rougher items like nuts. The dripping hole is a good idea for adding ingredients midstream while not having to take off the lid. I also think the appearance is stylish and the safety measures are helpful. The cleanup was also very simple. The only issue I have had is when the mixture settles at the bottom during the chopping, sometimes it raises the blade so that it is no longer cutting at the very bottom of the bowl anymore. I had to take the blade out and clear the area below so the blade would cut at the bottom again. I received the chopper as a sample in order to review the product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This product did exactly what it is supposed to. Makes chopping so much easier, blades are sharp and it measures you ingredients which saves a step. I did receive this product for review.

I found this 3 cup mini chopper to be an excellent value for the price! It has a small foot print and hardly takes up any space on our counter which is a huge plus for us. I was also pleased with the whisk attachment that came with the chopper and adds more value! I also found it very, very easy to take apart and clean. Overall its great for the everyday home cook but you may need something a bit more advanced if you want more than the hi-lo speeds of the chopper. Disclaimer: I received this item as a sample to review.
