[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to replace my old model that lived it's life. While I love the size, it is not working for me. The blade does not lock in place and moves up due to centrifugal force. Due to this issue it is ineffective on most foods I've tried to process. The same with the blending part.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Smoke and failure third time using !

The second time I used it, it quit... What a piece of Cr** (You Know)... I don't think I will ever buy another Oster product again...

I love this chopper but the plastic cup broke and i had to buy a whole new chopper when I only needed the cup:(

Compact, easy to use, easy to clean chopper

I received my Oster 3 cup chopper and made some awesome salsa. I also chopped up lots of herbs for a marinade, whipped up egg whites for a light and fluffy omelet. The chopper is easy to operate, easy to take apart and easy to clean. For smaller jobs it is very handy to use. I really like the drizzle hole, you can easily add your oil while it's chopping herbs for a great marinade. I think for being a compact food chopper, it works fine and takes up very little storage space. The only trouble I had was getting the lid to lock on. It went on when I turned it the other way, so perhaps I was doing it wrong at first.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am totally impressed by this chopper! I made a batch of salsa and also some homemade applesauce. I love the new whisk attachment too! I used it to beat some eggs for omelettes. They came out very fluffy! I would definitely recommend this chopper to my family and friends! I received this product as a tester.

Nice Mini Chopper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this mini chopper for about three weeks now, and overall I really like it. I've used it to chop a few different kinds of vegetables, and I've used the whisk attachment for homemade mayo. It handled most vegetables well, with the exception of carrots, but I might not have cut them small enough for the blades to handle. I really like the way my mayo came out using the whisk attachment, and the hole in the lid is perfect for drizzling oil. Another nice thing about the chopper is that I can leave it out on my counter for quick, easy access. It is compact enough that it doesn't take to much space, and the black/chrome color matches my black/gray/white kitchen nicely! Overall a useful purchase :)

This product looks nice. The first thing that I noticed is that this product has a short cord. The product does not chop into a chunky style. Guacamole and salsa turned out too thin in this chopper; there was not enough chunkiness consistency to either dish. The machine whips cream like nobody's business! The Oster name means good quality to me. This chopper seems sturdy and did not seem like it was going to break. Anything with a small amount of liquid seems to creep over the inside rim and leak. It cleans up well; very easy cleanup. I received this product to review and I give this a mid grade rating.
