I particularly like the fact you do not have to worry to get battery section wet while rinsing brush.

I bought my Sonicare about 10 years ago on the advice of my hygenist because I was brushing too hard and damaging my gums. It still works just as well as the day I bought it. Everyday, my teeth feel like I've just had a professional cleaning, and my dentist always compliments me on my at-home care. I won't use a standard toothbrush ever again!

I have used electric toothbrushes for 40+ years, and this is my first Phillips Sonicare. It was a gift from my engineer son who researches every purchase exhaustively before investing.
It is a remarkable product that cleans better than any previous product I have used. It takes a little getting used to as you need to close your mouth around the brush somewhat or risk spraying everywhere. Small concession for the superior cleaning and gum massaging it offers.
Highly recommend; even touted to my dentist and hygienist at last appointment.
