Good for small spaces

We purchased this set four months ago and have had mixed feelings about its performance. It is a great size and still fits large enough loads of laundry, but I would not recommend getting this setup unless you absolutely need to because of limited space.

Top loading laundry center

I bought this to replace my front loading laundry center. I wanted another front loader laundry center but GE does not make a small like I had. Since I was space constrained I had to go with the top loader. It is not as efficient in cleaning as the my old one. It does not have cycle end buzzers and it has a manual softener dispenser. All not ideal.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Had this unit since July 1st, had 3 service calls so far, another service call scheduled next week The dryer leaves back marks on pillow cases and sheets. Also the gasket around the dryer door is falling off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Was disappointed in this product. It was purchased through my contractor. Wished their had been an upgrade. Have had to have it serviced twice while only having it a few months. It makes a horrible noise on some cycles but have been told that was normal.

The washing machine gets the clothes very clean!! The dryer works great also and gets the clothes dry the first time every time!! The space saving design is awesome!! I highly recommend this unit to anyone who has limited space options!!
