Overall, good machine.

Controls provide good range of choices and are easy to understand. Washer does well although the relays/switches are a bit loud. The dryer has a very good range of controls and does quite well. My one complaint about it is that there is no signal at the completion of the drying cycle; i.e., no buzzer or bell to let you know it finished so that you can remove items on a timely basis. Finally, the location of the water hose connections makes no sense to me. Instead of being on the rear surface of the machine for a clean horizontal connection, they are on the top rear of the washer which requires the hoses to make a sharp 180 degree turn downward which puts a strain on the hoses. This location also interfered with my drier vent connection.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had purchased 9 months ago. First, two weeks, I had to call for service. But, since then no problems. The repairman had to replace a computer panel.

Bought it in July 2013, Control panel had to be replaced in April 2014. Luckily it was under a year old and was still under warranty. Makes me question the durability. Had similar problems with other GE washers.

This SpaceSaving washer/dryer combo gives nice wash and dry results. Easy to operate with safety lock feature when washer is is spin cycle.

some thlings good and some not so good

I bought this unit when we were up dating our kitchen . I needed more space in the laundry area just off the kitchen. I am happy with the space I saved how ever some of the safety features on the washer are not convenient . The spin cycle locking is not good when the machine is jumping all over, because I can not lift up the lid and rearrange the load. and there are times when it goes on pause for no apparent reason . The dryer works great but the lint filter is not great . the lint gets all over the door at times and is hard to clean . when unloading the dryer it gets on the clothes .. also it is hard to clean under the lint filter . you I would recommend it to a friend if she needed one like mine.
