Dryer Leaves Black Marks on Sheets

This is my 2nd one in less than 2 years doing the same thing. Dryer leaving black marks on linens.The guy delivering the 2nd one (which GE replaced) said it was a factory defect for this model. The size is great and otherwise it's fine, but this is a recall problem. I found others reviewers have this same problem.

Broke after 4 years of use.

Worst appliance purchase I have ever made. Dryer stopped heating after 4 years of normal household use (by a couple, not even a family). Repair company required nearly 10 hours of labor and numerous calls to get it working again. Now, a month later, it is broken again. Will never buy another GE appliance after this experience.

Worst machine ever

This machine has broken three times in the past few months. The appliance people have been out 9 times and still can’t fix it. I’m glad it’s not being manufactured anymore

Buttons come off from shirts, cloths get damaged in dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this model in my apartment. Everytime I use the dryer couple of buttons come out from shirts and sometimes cloths get torn. I don't know what the issue is. But it looks like many people are having the issue.
The washer also has some issue while filling water. It tries to find out how much cloths are there and fill water. The funny thing is at some point the water is drained and filled again. So you just loose your soap water with this.
Interesting thing is GE is still unaware of this issue regardless of many reviews on the product web page and several other places.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice Large capacity

This is a really nice washer and dryer combo. It is very quiet and has many options to choose different cycles for both machines. The washer has a large load capacity which really saves on energy.
I would recommend this to a friend!
