Not for really long hair, but still a wonderful product!

Unfortunately my hair seems to be to long for it to work properly, then again it could also be operator error. The parts of my hair that did curl were beautiful and these curlers were incredibly easy to use and took next to no time to heat up. I'm going to continue trying to use these curlers with different hairstyles, specifically updo type styles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the soft curls I got from these rollers. I only got one hot spot while handling. It took a while for all my curlers to get the 'ready red dot' on them. These are good curlers. They are 4 star because there is no way to secure the lid. I would love a latch. I would also love an indicator light for when they are ready, not just that they are plugged in.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Conair 20-roller compact setter for free in exchange for a review after using the product. I'll start by saying i have very fine hair. I used all but 4 of the rollers provided. I found the unit heats up very fast. I let it heat up for a total of 15 minutes before i started (Although i could have started after about 5 minutes of heating) I was a bit skeptical of the rollers whereas they are made up of hard plastic with "spikes" . I am used to using rollers with felt type wraps to hold the hair. Surprisingly, these went in with ease and i didn't have a problem with fly away strands not wanting to roll up. In total it took me about 10 minutes to use 16 rollers. I left them in until i could no longer feel anymore heat (around 20 minutes) I was shocked at how effortlessly these came out. I usually struggle trying to get rollers out of my hair, they ALWAYS get caught and knotted. I found the curls were bouncy and crisp. I didn't find them to be frizzy or funky looking. As the day went on the curls would continue to fall. by the end of the day i had a bit of wave but not so much curl left. Still looked nice , either way. Overall, these curlers are nice, I would still prefer my curling iorn or flat iron for curls but i could see this being a go to for someone who prefers rollers.

Conair Hot Roll Set

The hot roll set rollers really grip your hair and the clip they provide adds extra hold to hold the roller in place. The amount of rollers will cover your head if you have medium thickness hair or fine hair. If you have thick hair, you may need more rollers. The set heats up quickly and provides good lasting curl when used with a setting spray. The curlers do get hot to the touch, even when rolling by the ends of the rolls. I love how compact the roller case is. Would definitely recommend.

Great Curls
