Like the nibs on the rollers that help hold the ha

Happy that I bought this styler, but the clips to hold the rollers are not good, they slip and don’t hold the hair. I had clips from a previous styler and they fit right over the roller and hold the hair.

Conair Curls and Waves Review

I has not used a hot roller set in years and my hair is much longer than it used to be. I wasn't certain if I'd like using a roller set as an adult but they work amazing! It's also much less bulky!

A pleasant surprise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing that you need to know is that my hair texture is somewhere between Ronald McDonald and a Brillo pad. For my fellow curly girls, it's 2b/3c texture. I have coils and s-waves.
Sometimes I prefer a sleek look with body, so I flat iron and then set with rollers. The set I have had for years is adequate, but nothing special.
I was excited to receive this twenty roller compact setter from Conair. It was well packed and arrived complete and undamaged.
Taking it out of the box, I was impressed with the compact and sturdy design. The pink and peach rollers were aesthetically pleasing. There are more than enough rollers of varying sizes to roll my very thick, long hair (half way down my back).
I left them in for half an hour (pro-tip, put a terry cloth lined shower cap over your hair and shower as usual.) When I removed the curlers, my curls were much more defined than usual. They were also less frizzy and I had fewer flyaways. I the effect was similar to ionic enhanced products I've used in the past.
The instructions stated that the middle roller would have a dot that turned white when they were at the optimum temperature. My dot never turned white after heating them up for half an hour. Also, I would have appreciated the pins for the rollers having different colored end caps to help differentiate their sizes.
Overall, these were amazing and I plan to incorporate them into my routine regularly.

Super easy and convenient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the 20 roller compact setter for free from Conair through the BzzAgent sampling program in exchange for my honest review. This was my first time trying hot rollers as I usually use my curling iron, but it was way easier and took less time. It takes quite awhile to heat up and will start to cool down if you leave the lid open, but I just closed the lid in between each roller. The pins are color coded , but difficult to see the colors. I just sorted them prior to starting so I had no confusion. I really liked how fast I managed to get my hair rolled up and how I was able to do my skincare routine as it set. I would definitely buy this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These successfully curled my hair, so I'll start with that. They work, but I would have wanted the barrels to be bigger.
I don't like that there isn't a heat indicator to know when ready. They also didn't grasp my hair very well so they took some practice to make sure they were fully wrapped. They didn't hold very well even with the pins, so it might just be my hair being fine.
Overall I prefer sticking to Wands or the Velcro style curlers
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Curls hold well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product for the first time today and it was fairly easy to roll my hair. The rollers were warm to the touch but not too hot to handle. The hardest part is clipping them in and them staying. The curls lasted. A few didn't curl well but maybe I took too long and they cooled before I got them in my hair
