I had the SD4NPR replace with the SD9R. I love my new dryer. It takes a fraction of the time and my hair is smooth and does not frizz in humidity.

This is a great hair dryer for the money. It is quite sturdy and provides sufficient heat to dry hair quickly. The only reason that I did not rate it five stars is that the brush attachment (that I use daily) does not stay attached to the dryer body very well and falls off with little pressure. This was easily remedied by using a small piece of tape to secure the brush, but it might not be a good solution if you want to regularly remove and then re-attach the brush.

My only complaint with prior models is the attachments did not stay on the unit securely. This new model solves this problem with the attachment locking in place. The 3 heat settings and “cool” button make this hair dryer the perfect tool. I love it!
