great phone with qwerty keyboard

I was looking for smartphone options plus a qwerty keyboard. This does everything I need. It is a great phone for people of my generation to use. I have trouble with the touch screen keyboard.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

this thing rules.
there are a few things i would love to change but no deal-breakers. if you had a love/hate relationship with a sidekick in the past, you'll love this one.

if you've been enduring a SK LX for the last 2.5 years like me, yer gonna be pumped.
overall super happy they didnt let the SK die.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, its a sidekick with a touchscreen!, group/cloud text functions are fantastic, best qwerty in the biz
Cons: Not high def, doesn't recognize phone numbers in text, bluetooth limitations. can't pair with wii remote, no flash on the already weak camera., a couple annoying keyboard changes: [ ! ? alt], power button is easy to unintentionally hit, contact import has bugs
I would recommend this to a friend!

FINALLY The New SIDEKICK is back...

I've been with the sidekick since 2004, black and white model. It was the first model out and I've stuck with the Sidekick name all these years. To see it finally out, new and improved is amazing. I love the touch screen, android os and of coarse the infamous key board. The only downfall the "kick" was removed to a slide up and down motion. I understand certain co. had legal rights for the "kick", Just wish it was still the feature. All in all a great device which I see more improvement with in the years to come.!!! Job well done.....

Samsung Sidekick 4G - My Dream Phone

I love this phone! From the group texting to the media hub and everything in between, it's as much of a power house as they say. The software runs beautifully and I love that Samsung stayed true to the Sidekick build. It's everything I hoped for!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, forward facing camera, great sound quality
Cons: Too big

No phone in this price range can compete with it. Great product with a great price tag. The Sidekick nameplate doesn't have to be ashamed anymore!

First problem is that Android freezes/crashes too much. The phone itself is fairly sturdy though.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

I have already had 3 of these phones & have had problems with all of them.
Maybe it's a fluke? But seriously all the Sidekick 4G phones I have owned have either broken unexpectedly or are have problems.
Other than that, it is a pretty good phone.
