On my 5th sidekick, this phone is a piece of junk

I am already on my 5th sidekick within the past month. This piece of junk has a mind of its own, its starts clicking all over the place opening apps dialing numbers, will not let me hang up the phone, have to take the back and battery out. I have a son with autism and have to be able to talk to his doctors, most of the time i cant answer the phone, cant get messages, doesnt show missed calls. This is a piece of junk, period.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, has to many technical issues inside the phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

phone was good

the phone was good when i first bought it, after a month had to be exchanged for a new one since it wouldnt boot itself up anymore. now my second one constantly freezes up and wont connect to my wifi anymore. greatly disappointed in it.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

This Phone Needs an Update

This phone needs an update badly. Ever since the update that was sent out in July, 2011 the phone is not usable.

Sidekick Restart

Since having my Sidekick 4G now for about a month now overall its a good phone.
I'll start with the good. I love the flip screen and the qwerty keyboard. I can text and type information fast and easy. I really like the texting aspect of this phone a lot. It makes it look like a messenger where you can see all of your conversation with the person you are texting instead of having to keep going back and forth from your inbox to your outbox. I also really enjoy the lock screen. The spell clock is very cool as well. I also like the the jump key. If you happen to leave your phone laying around and someone picks it up and you catch them and you want to know what they did just hit the jump key and it will tell you everything they did. I have also been using it to for things I've done and its easier to get back to things using the jump key.
Now for the not so great things about the phone.
One major thing is that the power/lock button is not in a good place. I find a lot of times when I'm texting I accidentally hit it and I have to completely start over everything I was writing. Maybe on the next model putting it on the other side or on the top or bottom. Another thing that is very irritating is that knowing that it has a 1ghz processor in it, it sure doesn't seem like it. I find a lot of times the phone freezes and then it restarts itself. That is very irritating. I also don't like the fact that it doesn't have a zoom or flash feature on the camera. I did find in the camera settings that it has a night setting that does make the picture look brighter after you take the picture.
Overall I really like the phone.

A Smartphone For The Not-So-Savy User

The T-Mobile Sidekick 4G by Samsung is the first smartphone I've ever owned and so far, it's a blast! It's user-friendly, and their are so many apps available (many of them free!)
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

No matter if im trying to send a text, play a game, or anything esle this phone has a mind of its own. I downloaded and ran the mini lies program. it didnt work either. Love the design and features of the phone. its just to bad I can not use any of them!

like most people who had t-mobile for awhile i got excited for the release...i purchsed it and to my dissapointment the purchase of the phone was the worst mistake i could make....all the program problems, app crashes, and constant dropped calls and undelivered text messages im only counting down the days till my contract expires and i get a new phone.
