Very nice phone

I love this phone for it's fast processing speeds, it's pin-accurate touch screen, wonderful 5 row QWERTY backlit keyboard, among it's other amazing features.
However, this phone will almost always freeze up when you try to manipulate a webpage before it has finished loading.
Also, sometimes when I press the home button, the home screen will show up blank for a long time and will load up randomly.
Also, when viewing the Gallery, the phone may freeze up if you try to manipulate it before it has mapped all of your media.
Whenever the phone freezes, it will vibrate and triple-vibrate, and restart within 2 minutes (unless you take out the battery yourself).
Finally, this phone has poor battery life. My last Sidekicks (the LX 2009 & the LX 2008) that could last days with rigorous use. This phone should have a better battery then these last two models because it is expected from a heavy data using machine. However, the battery barely lasts me 6 hours with everything but Wifi turned off, even if on standby all day.

I purchased this sidekick because of my past experience with other sidekicks, and oh boy was i disappointed. My expectations for this new sidekick 4g with the andriod o/s and a touch screen too, were soooo high. I wanted all the old sidekick sounds, lights and everything that made a sidekick a sidekick, and the only thing i got was a qwerty keyboard. very disappointed in Samsung for not making this the best sidekick EVER!!!
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight, qwerty keyboard
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations, poor memory

Great Abilities...Low Performance

The T-Mobile Sidekick 4g has many great features, but is loaded with T-Mobile apps that cannot be deleted and eat up all of the phone's internal memory. The funny thing is, it won't even let you move the apps to the SD card.
I have heard that it may be possible to root the phone, and use an Andriod clone OS, but that is scary. I would never recommend this phone to anyone. It is always locking up, it doesn't connect with a bluetooth device half of the time, it force closes most apps, it won't answer calls consistently, it won't send texts sometimes, and will auto-reset often.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, great camera, keyboard
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, locks up often, too many pre-loaded apps, unreliable

I have always loved sidekicks, I owned a sidekick 3 prior to this one.....since the new sidekick came with android I decided Id have to get myself one...When I had first got the sidekick 4g it ran just fine, I loved it... especially for its front facing camera and full keyboard...however I missed the swivel screen. After a while of owning the phone I noticed it starts to lag up a bit more it cant handel all some of the apps in playstore. I have to constantly clear the ram for it to work well. I wish the 4 key buttons would light up so I could see them in the dark. The track pad on the right of the phone tends to act up in sunlight, the phone will start scrolling though a text Im trying to read, and shoot all the way up to the beginning of the conversation for instance. I do love how confortable the phone feels in the hand...it might be a little chunky but I prefer it over thin phones....The keyboard is easy to type on and very responsive. Over all its some pretty good bang for your buck.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: slow/laggy, cant load all apps.

Freezes up and shuts down to much

I have had this phone for a while now.. in many ways I love it.. but getting tired of it shutting down randomly and sick of it freezing with everything I do... Thinking about looking for another phone and very soon...

I LOVE ALL THE FEATURES THE PHONE HAS,ESPECIALLY ALL THE FREE APPS! BUT THE PHONE IS A LITTLE TOO HEAVY! I LIKE TO PUT IT IN MY SHIRT POCKETS BUT IT WEIGHS THEM DOWN TOO MUCH! AND IT HAS A TENDANCY TO FREEZE UP SOMETIMES!

It has its good and bad things. Most of the bad has to do with performance. Mine can't run for 30 minutes without slowing down and completly freezing. I have to pull the battery out of it like 3 times a day. The phone has a mind of its own. Itll click stuff on its own, scroll through stuff, go back to the home screen when you try making a call or text. The amount of dust that gets under the screen to is bad.

After Time Has Many Issues

Only have had phone 1 year and am having issues with the phone deleting my information and restarting itself.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight
