love the qwerty keyboard with 5 rows..

I have always loved the sidekick's I've owned. The 4g by samsung is a good phone but i miss some of the features the previous models had like the flip screen which has been reduced to a slider-like phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations
I would recommend this to a friend!

the sidekick 2009 was better than this one! I am extremely disappointed in this product. I waited SO long to get it and it's not even all it was cut out to be.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

The phone works well for someone who is looking for their first smart phone. There are limited features and the phone gets to be boring. The market provides alot of free games and entertainment but the phone itself has very few features that make using the phone itself enjoyable. It is an overall good phone with a few glitches such as the screen does not always respond, screen freezes, and the sound is little loud on phone calls, but overall it is a good phone.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight
Cons: Too big, Did not meet expectations, screen freezes
I would recommend this to a friend!

Freezes a lot, must always remove battery and restart it. Freezes at least 2 times a day, no joke.
Phone has a poor camera with no flash.

Awesome design and set up. Keyboard a great asset. And how the screeen sits at an angle it cool.

This phone is a complete lemon. I am on my 3rd and finally figured out that the problems I am having can only be fixed by getting a completely different phone model. The phone must be rebooted multiple times a week to prevent hang up and connectivity issues.
The camera is a joke - no ability to zoom and the quality is far inferior to what else is available in the market.
Email management is challenging since you have to delete the same emails multiple times before they finally stop showing up, and frequently there are "connection error"s when trying to open emails...but don't worry - just wait 10 minutes and when all your deleted emails show back up, that email will be there...but you have to open it first to avoid more connection errors.
The bulkiness of the phone can be challenging, but hey - I knew that going into this purchase. Love the slide out keyboard (which is the reason for the bulkiness), but that is not enough to offset all the other opportunities this phone has.
This is the only phone I have ever purchased that I have truly regretted.

My new sidekick would do its own thing. It would go into my music playlist and pick a song and start playing, it would open random applications and go into random files. Phone would ring when no one would call me, it would shut my alarm for work off or change it in the middle of the night, very hard to use.
