I actually got two of these for my parents b/c they need a phone that is simple to use and has a large screen, as well as a keyboard so, this phone is excellent for them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Really like the 4g and the camera on this phone screen is nice and bright

It needs more ram or should have been a dual core phone

It a great phone design, the software is great to, but where it got ruin was not enough ram. I would love to use ALL the cool stuff this phone has but it keeps freezing up with just its native apps.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, design
Cons: Not high def, Did not meet expectations, ram

I love that this handset has a touch screen but also the option of using the full qwerty keyboard. It is easy to use and the design is just great!

1) Touch screen freezes all the time
2) For the hefty price, the performance is disappointing
3) Delayed text delivery
4) Too many useless apps that can't be uninstalled
5) Have to perform battery pull out reboot
6) Not enough options on phone color and themes

I was very excited about my new Sidekick 4G, but after about 3 weeks it started getting glitchy, slow and would do random restarts. It does not allow for game play without severely slowing down and there are a variety of apps that not only force close, but shut the phone off completely. If it worked the way it appears to be intended to work, it would be great, but it simply doesn't live up.
Pros: Durable
Cons: Did not meet expectations, glitchy

Great to have if you're bored

If you have alot of time to waste this is the phone for you. First off, it does not come with an owners manual. It seems that they fill the space in the box with the health and safety warnings which scares me because it is the size of a manual. Why not be informed on how to use this phone rather than putting in a sizable recycling pamphlet? Phone tends to lock up quite often and calls are dropped very easily with the touch screen hitting your cheek. After I figure out how to use the sidekick I'll update a review

Cons: Too big, freezes quite often, touch pad to sensitive, call log is hard to pull up. hit the button severa, drops calls frequently

I have a refurb, but originally had a "new" phone. 1st phone wouldn't let me answer calls all the time, only intermititally. This phone is working better, but for some reason the battery dies really really quick. Sound is not the best. Working on learning the product through this website.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: heavy
I would recommend this to a friend!
