good product needs 2.3 update samsung takes to long

good product decent battery life and gets good signal and front facing camera is fun even though it lacks the software to use the front facing camera to take pics of yourself the overlay looks very cheap on the operating system wish it was more droid like like more base line android also no 2.3 everything is going to that you think they would of released it with that i mean the 2.3.4 version was released already for mytouch 4g falling behind seems to be a samsung thing from my understanding however keyboard is amazing on this phone would i buy it again honestly ehhhhh its iffy good phone just kinda glitchy if they offered it with 2.3 i would probaly say yes to a millionth degree fixes glitchs and battery life to be longer so ill be selling this handset and getting something else if it isnt out withing 2 or 3 months not dealing with the issues and no support seeming from the company of samsung also its easy to run i never had a sidekick before but was fast to learn and easy to use just needs updated and more support

Cons: Too big, Did not meet expectations, no android 2.3, buggy, battery could be better with 2.3

The Sidekick 4G appeared to be one of the better basic smart phones out there seeing as how it was being advertised a lot on TV. Once I bought it I really enjoyed the design and features but after about half way through the day it begins to slow down and becomes very glitchy. This has been a problem with many other people especially right after an over-the-air firmware update was released. If that were to be fixed I would be very happy with my device.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: poor performance, mediocre camera, no flash

constantly having to pull battery to reboot gets frozen when using apps and drops a lot of calls! very unhappy! first samsung product I didn't like!
Pros: Bright display, Durable
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really like the swype texting. LOVE the way it opens up into the keyboard. Never really interested in a touch screen befor ethis one it really works well for me!! The proximity sensor is a life saver!! Id highly recomend this to people who are wary to the touch screen but wtill want a keyboard! Love this phone!!

The Sidekick Finally Stepped There Game Up By Adding Everything We've Been Wanting From A Sidekick, Touch Screen, Loud Speakers, Front Face Camera, 4G, Fast 1Ghz Processor, & Oh Yes ANDROID 2.2, With Thousands Of Free Apps Including YouTube, I Guess It Had To Take The Genius From SAMSUNG To Get It Right lol

Best phone Ive owned thus far.
Android system is great on it,runs very smooth. Just like other android phones the battery needs to be charged twice a day but other than that no complaints.

The sidekick is back and better than ever! I had the sidekick 2 and wheN I heard this sidekick was with samsung and android powered I became an instant fan again. Been playing with it every day since I got it and the features are so easy to use.
