This is a very nice product for the price

I purchased this range 6 months ago and am very impressed. I have owned several GE ranges in the past-both convection and non convected units. The convection bake feature cooks quickly with even baking results. I used the slow bake option for a beef roast this week and was impressed with the end result. The controls are easily understood with larger touch pads -I don't even have to reach for my glasses to see the controls! The warming drawer is removable for easy cleaning and substantial in design.
I may even become a better cook with this range.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't think I could ever love an electric range, having had gas for years. But this stove has changed my mind. It's great..heats up fast and is so very easy to clean. The warming burner on top is an excellent idea and I use that often. And I really like that the oven heating element is under the bottom of the oven instead of on top. This is a very well-designed range.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this range because the reviews were so good. However, even though it works great, the oven takes about 15 to 20 min, to preheat. Also, the front of the oven door and cooktop get so hot you can't even touch it without getting burned. Repairman said it was because it was vented out the front and that was normal. I would not recommend this product for that reason, especially if you have small children or grandkids. After owning GE products for 35 years I am very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful and full of so many features, but the convection portion has been replaced 3 times in 4 months and never worked for long. One burner malfunctioned to over heat.
I bought a convection oven for a reason, TO USE!!! Over paid for an oven that is a wolf in sheep's clothing

good stove but hate the stainless

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this stove, love the convection, love the three racks, love the steam clean and covered element. HATE the stainless. I have a stainless fridge and that is a breeze to keep clean, This range ,on the other hand, shows every wipe mark. I have tried all different types of stainless cleaners and you have to laboriously make sure each wipe overlaps or you have tons of streaks, it still shows some streaks no matter how careful I am to clean it just so. Don't know why this is SOOOO hard to clean. Also the warming drawer takes almost 1/2 an hr to heat up, Why?????. The oven also takes a long time to preheat, much longer than my old GE range.

Great convection feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range/oven does everything it said it would. I love the convection setting that converts my input from regular to convection. The warming drawer is great for pancakes when I'm making a bunch, and the burner size options are very eco-friendly. It takes quite a while to preheat, but sometimes I'll put the food in (non-baking) as it's preheating to save some time and energy. I've had this range for a year and have no complaints.

Love the convection baking mode

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this unit since Nov 2011 and have come to really like it. For me, there was a little learning curve since I had never worked with glass top burners or a convection oven. But once I got used to those, I have had a very good experience. GE phone support was most helpful in the beginning.
There are tons of features, some of which I haven't tried, but my favorite is the warming drawer on the bottom. It saved the day as we hosted the family for Christmas dinner. Everyone brought a dish and the warming drawer kept them perfectly until everything else was ready for serving. No reheating of anything. We love it.
The only negatives are cleaning the glass stove top and the slow preheating of the oven. I suspect that most glass stove tops have the same cleaning issue.
I would recommend this to a friend!
