The extra warming burner is very useful, but what we love the most is the extra large burner on the cook top - it heats our large skillits so much better! The steam cleaning of the oven is so much better then conventional cleaning cycles too!

Best range for the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed and pleased with this awesome GE range.It bakes cookies so perfectly and also everything else so evenly with the convection feature.I love how the burners work to accomodate different size pans.The digital preheat feature with the beep when its preheated is so nice too.I especially love the smoothtop and not having to clean spillovers that used to go down under on the old coil stoves.This is my first smoothtop and I love it.It's also very attractive with the black and stainless steel and the price is very reasonable.GE ranges have a good track record.Check it out in the 2012 consumer reports book.

This product is just OK

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second GE electric Range. My previous stove was a GE profile that began to breakdown after 13 years; the repairman said it was not worth the fix because "it was old". I replaced this model with the current. I feel the glass top is more difficult to clean due to the fact that the top is completely black and any missed area is evident. Seems to streak more when cleaning than my previous stove. Although there are more burners than the profile had, I feel the control "bulkhead" is extended too far out and interferes with ease of using the whole cooktop at the same time. I do think the heating elements heat up fast. It seems to take the stove a prolonged period of time to reach set temp.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range has all the features we were looking for: convection oven, muti-element cooktop, warming drawer with selectable temperature control and Made in the USA.
The only negative is that the range will not fit flush with the rear wall. The range's rear panel wiring cover extends out from the back of the range by a few inches.

Very unhappy with this oven. Takes literally 1/2 an hour to boil a pot of water. Constantly have to clean the black stove top. It shows everything. Preheat is slow in the oven and baking is uneven. Liquid is allowed to fall into air vents on the top of the oven door thus allowing water streaks between the oven window glass. The icly wat to clean this is to tke apart the door.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
