Good energy conservation

I like the layout and the usefulness of this appliance. The only thing that I find lacking is a light for the freezer section, but it is not a big draw-back.

Pleased with Purchase

I purchased this refrigerator from a local dealer, to replace an old Whirlpool refrigerator, & am very pleased with it. I especially like the larger, flatter meat drawer and the large freezer. I am not as fond of the different size crispers, as I would prefer two of the same size. This has not been a major problem, though. The door shelves are also very conveniently arranged. At first, I wasn't pleased with the single control for the freezer & refrigerator, as I had to turn it down much further than the recommended settings to get the freezer within the safe area. But, after a few weeks, I have been able to move the setting to the recommended setting, and both sections are kept at the perfect temperature.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love the room in the freezer and the refrigerator and how it is arranged. I also love the removable shelves that can be rearranged inside the door. Lots of room for products such as a gallon of milk. I also love the clear shelving inside the refrigerator.

Good value for our purposes

We have access to a lot of fresh produce earlier than much of the country due to the warmer temps. Hubby wanted to take advantage when we had the chance and buy some to "put up" for winter. I prefer to freeze them, so we needed a refrigerator to store them in until ready to process, as well as freezer space for them over time. The Whirlpool wasn't overly expensive, and is serving our purposes very well. The freezer is about halfway full of fresh veggies, ready to use with dinner, or to put into soups. I was able to put some varieties into the fridge while I worked others and prepared them for freezing. I love the convenience of having more fridge and freezer space!

Works well but a tad too noisy

I wanted a SS fridge without an ice maker at a good price from a reliable manufacturer. The fridge works well at keeping the desired temperatures. The capacity is fine for my needs. I was able to switch the hinge so it opens the other way with a reasonable amount of effort. The drawbacks are that the hum from when the compressor is working is a bit louder than i'd like. Also, there are occasional loud popping sounds...not sure if that is normal.

This fridge is a great buy for the money. Love the satina finish...NO fingerprints!! Keeps my food very cold and love the energy star savings. It is a little noisy when running, but I would still recommend this fridge. Love the switchable door handles (can open from left or right side). Only 2 cons I can tell so far...wished the wheels locked (rolls when opening the doors on hardwood floors) and no light in the freezer.
