I wanted a basic refrigerator with no bells and whistles. This has been near perfect. Lots of shelf and drawer space. I say near perfect because I had to leave out one of the door shelves to have enough tall bottle storage. Otherwise, this is the perfect refrigerator for one.

I am not thrilled with the "defrost" cycle. It is fairly noisy and I always run in to see if water is coming from underneath the refrigerator.

Works okay but temperature varies more than I like in refrigerator. It is noisy, IMO. I have not seen a reduction in my electric bill and I replaced a 15 year old model.

Right size for opening in new cupboards

Bought 1 1/2 months ago, works great, good size freezer, maintains good temperatures, needs split style adjustable shelving as the 2 tall item door storage trays are not enough for milk, wine, juice, misc drinks, etc., featured canned drink tray falls out when door is opened, believe cause is left hand swing door and inertia created. Would recommend Whirlpool to others with caution on shelving design issues. Dave

I am pleased with the amount of room it has, configuration of the inside for storage, and ease in moving it to clean. Love the door compartments for gallons of milk. Love it!!

Mostly big improvement

Very quiet and holds temperature perfectly. Design and spacing of shelves, including door shelves, will take getting used to. Fridge section is lower than our old model; it requires more bending. Nooks and crannies in doors and bins seem strange and useless. We like this fridge, but after one month, we're still getting used to it. Chose this brand in large part because it's made in USA and has the highest Energy Star rating.
