First of a kind

This is the first time I have used a combined Printer/Scanner, so I cannot really give a comparative report on it, however I find the unit easy to set up and use. In particular the "Copy" feature is very impressive and is a great step forward from my old system. I just hope it lasts as long as my old printer!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good, cheap printer

Overall a good product for a low price.
The web interface is a bit buggy and the scanning was hit and miss until I downloaded a diagnostic tool from the HP support site but this issue has now been resolved.
Overall it's pretty feature packed for an entry level model
I would recommend this to a friend!

At this moment in time, unfortunately I am not happy with my HP Printer purchase.
I bought this printer from John Lewis. When I was unable to get it to print from my iPad I rang them, they were not able to help, and suggested ringing HP direct. This I did, after half a day going through trial after trial with the HP representative I was asked to load the printer via my husbands lap top and the disk and they would speak to me the next day. This I did but unfortunately no telephone call. I rang again and got an extremely helpful guy who again after almost half a day we managed to get it to work. The next day I tried it and it could not find AirPrint on my iPad so back to the same stage. Unfortunately I am busy working and do not have the half a days to get it working. I think I shall have to return it to John Lewis.
I have to point out that I have a wireless printer, but purchased this solely for use with my iPad.
I have to say when it did work on the one occasion the printer was great.

For value for money this is a fab printer. Being suitable for the IPad and wireless I can use it on all computers. It is quiet and easy to use. I just hope it is built for a long life but time will tell. If you want a printer to go with an IPad I would strongly reccommend this machine.

Great printer, excellent results

I bought this printer but though the ink cartridges would be expensive, so did a search for them before purchasing, the cartridges are reasonably priced, so I purchased this printer. It works wonderful every time. I had it not being found on the network once (I haven't turned the printer off since buying) & I thought I would turn off the printer wait 30 seconds, then turn back on. Then there it was back on-line ready to use. I'm using the printer wireless & it saves a lot of time as I don't need keep plugging my laptop into the USB lead, the printer is ready waiting, I click print logo on the document I want to print. Then the printer springs to life & does it. There is a great scan / photocopy option too. I would definitely recommend this printer, I've had all the other well known printers and this beats them all for reliability & printing. I think I'm hooked on HP as this is one of the best If not the best ive had

Bought this printer at first, thought it would be amazing. It's hard to get a secure internet connection meaning you have to connect it via the usb cable. This isn't bad however you are paying for a wireless printer. Ink has lasted since October. Not any other problems, fair buy.

All-Around Good

The printer-although-Wireless-does come with USB Cable. A very useful item indeed, especially when you don't want to fumble around with the Network setting to connect the Wi-Fi. Trust me, it's worh it. Price is excellent. The printer has minor disadvantages such as noise, especially when placed on top of a desk. The ink levels sink fast & I would recommend buying the XL cartridges for large printing volumes more than 200 pages. I couldn't set-up the e-mail printing feature for some reason, maybe due to the fact that I don't have access to the Router itself (I live in a Student Hall). The other issue as with printers of this caliber, is the absence of a sorter, making copying & scanning multiple pages a pain. Otherwise, a solid all-in-one wireless printer.
