cant fault it

being a pensioner i wanted something simple to use, i put it together on my own, and the printing itself is brilliant, what a fantastic product for anybody like me who wants something easy to use,
i would completely recommend it.just press a button to switch it on. and follow the instructions, it's the best.

Good with reservations

I found the printer clear and easy to operate.
However, I recently changed my desktop to Windows8 which doesn't work wirelessly withDeskjet 3050A. My old computer using windows XP wasn't a problem. My Ipad works wirelessly too, but I have to use a USB cable on my shiny new windows8 machine. Great Pity!

Not quite sure about printer yet!

I purchased my printer before Christmas and it was easy to set up, I used it and was happy. The next time I tried to print I couldn't as the printer wasoffline and the pop up message read HP printer unable to connect to wireless router. To cut a long story short I called a IT technician who got it working for me but he said the same thing could happen again and if it does I will return it. When it is working it is value for money but I can't say I am convinced!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent product

This is the first time I have purchsed an HP product and am really pleased I did. It was so easy to set up and prints quickly and it is not too noisy. It is so useful being able to photocopy. I have recommened it to my sister who has since bought one herself and she is very pleased too. I havnt had to replace the toners as yet but have printed quite alot and they are lasting well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I think the hp deskjet 3050a is the ideal all in printer for the average person it is good value for money I recommend it to anyone who needs a good reliable printer that's value for money.

After some months suffering poor print quality and unable to print good quality photo paper. Invested in a new printer and am delighted because
A It takes card of at least 240g
B It gives superb quality photos
C It works perfectly out of sight in another room
D It was no trouble to set up; it just works.

Mixed feelings

The printer/copier/scanner seems a good product but I was dissapointed that the black ink cartridge which came with the machine packed up after 2 A4 document prints.
Although it is full of ink the screen software says that it is faulty and registers empty.
I have had to purchase new cartridges which seem to be working ok but time will tell.
I like the speed, look and size of the machine but am concerned that the cartridges may be the weak point.
Having said that, they are quite reasonably priced compared with other manufacturers..
