I think this is a really good buy as, not being very well up on computers or printers, i was still able to set the printer up myself.The print is good and the photos are nice and clear.

Good purchase

This is the 2nd HP printer I have owned and I have not been disappointed. I had the first one for almost ten years. I used it constantly apart from a fifteen month period when I bought a much more expensive and sophisticated printer in order to get good quality photos. It wasn't a success and crashed on me just out of the guarantee period. I went back to my old HPmodel which I used for the next five years with no problems but eventually it too died on me. I made the purchase of the 3050A hastily but I have not been disappointed. It was easy to set up, took about fifteen minutes following the step by step hints. WiFi worked first time and hasn't let me down. I am not technically brilliant but it didn't cause this 66 year old grandmother any problems.. I would most definitely recommend this printer for home use. In fact, my granddaughter has a birthday coming up and has said she would like her own printer. I intend buying her a HP 3050A e-All in one.

I was sent a repalcement for a printer that wasnot working and within guarantee. Disaster after disaster since then. HP sent an upgraded printer with no instructions, no drivers etc. I have to phone two or three times and they still have not responded to my complaints. My previous printer was wireless and my son could use it with this laptop. Now I have to have it connected to the USB so I can use it and my son cvannot print at all. I would have been better buying a new printer. then there's the time and expenses of phone calls and time spent gettting the printer set up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a very good printer for the price. Set up is fairly straight forward and in use it produces good quality printouts and scans. I am using it with 2 computers through a wireless broadband Hub and it responds to either computer quite quickly. The only downside is the only Manual is online and it is not specific to this model but the series in general, so some of the screen menus given are not on this machine so you can not carry out some of the solutions to certain problems should they occur. despite this i would still highly recommend this printer for everyday tasks

good print quality.....but error s relating to the colour cartridge supplied with the printer means you have to keep on re installing the cartridge .....whitch is a bit of a pain
