Excellent Printer for the price

I wanted a printer that would communicate successfully with my iPad and iPhone. The HP Deskjet 3050A e has been an excellent purchase. It is easy to use and has printed both pictures and documents well as well as scanning and photocopying.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So easy

It took less than 5 minutes to unpack and set up wirelessly. Its so easy to load the ink catridges and print, copy or scan. Instructions were so clear.
It is so easy to unpack no struggling to get it out of the box. With PC on and driver loaded it connected wirelessly, no need to connect direct to pC with cables
Worth every penny.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I & my family are very pleased with our new printer/scanner. Just one thing though - would be nice to have a detailed instruction book in "English" otherwise luv this product, many thanks.

WiFi woes

Although I rate this MFD overall I do have issues with the wifi setup routine.
As a Linux user and as my router doesn't support the push button setup for wifi I had to use a borrowed laptop running Windoze to set the wifi up using the setup.exe file on the CD.
Surely as the machine has linux drivers available for it would be relatively simple to have a Linux executable file to set the wifi up.

I purchased the above printer because it has a eprint option and I have found it ideal as I have a iPhone and now I am able to print various emails and web sites

Bought a deskjet 3055a have a problem with the scanner, case elevated by hp, Still have had no contact from them in 9 days. As much use as a chocolate teapot, would not recommend hp to any one.
