I am happy with the printer. I have had it now for 4 weeks. I have experienced no problems. i have used it for normal printing and photocopying. I have not used the scanner yet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don't waste you money

I bought one of these recently and frankly it's rubbish. Mine is going back to the shop. I can't believe that a company like HP would release a machine this bad into the market. The paper feed is atrocious and hasn't worked properly from day one. This appears to be a design fault with a lack of lead-in for the feed, meaning that the drive rollers can't get the paper to start moving.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cheap and very cheerful

I was looking for a replacement printer for home use and found this one. Very cheap and does exactly what I want. Ink changes are easier than most, reverse order printing is a boon. Print quality is good. Although HP is not the cheapest ink-to-print machine for the price this is magnificent.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent little machine

Very easy to set up wirelessly and can now print to it from ipad, laptop and desktop machines. Good print quality as well as an excellent copier and easy to use scanner.
Only niggle...can't find out how to set a default for greyscale printing to save ink, and can't get a reply from HP.

its a 4x4 on ink, but works very well so far 3months at time of writing.
Its wireless, it scans, its compact and the print quality is good our last one was five times the price so hey whats a little extra ink. Lets hope its as good in 12 months ???

Exceeded my expectations

The printer is so easy to set up. Initially I just used it for printing the odd document. Last week I needed to scan some documents and, at first, thought it was going to be a complicated task. I thought the scanning process hadn't worked, but, what I had failed to realise was that every time I scanned a document, it was automatically stored in "my documents".
Really pleased with this printer.

This printer is useless. I only managed to print two pages before it constantly jammed. The returns policy is very poor and now I'm stuck with a printer that doesn't work.
Given the choice of printers on the market, avoid this one.

Just the job

This was an excellent purchase. Good price, easy to set up and use. Print quality is good both for text and pictures as are copies. Have not printed photographs yet so cannot comment on quality.
