the best printer i have purchased, easy to set up easy to use. the first wifi. not used scanner yet but printer and copier great and fast thank you.

The good, the bad and the ugly

I wanted a reasonably priced wifi all in one printer for my personal home use. After looking around for sometime I decided upon this one. I must say the printer is quite a good value for money in comparison to many others in the market with a higher price tag. The good, bad and the ugly of this printer are listed below-
Good:
Very easy to install - both wifi and wired
Does what it is meant to without any fuss
Comes with a B&W and colour cartridge which is of very good quality. Lasted more than a month.
Air print compatible
Comes with a carry bag which has its own benefits
HP printer apps make smartphones communication easy
Very good value for money

Bad:
E-print web service of HP seriously need an update as most of the time I have not been able to use it as it says printer busy when it was not. So at the moment not a selling factor for me.

Ugly
No option to scan to email. Scans to computer but scanning to email is the order of the day.
No option to print double sided. Wastes paper that way as it can only print single side.

My first wireless controlled printer - a major advantage when using a laptop in various room in the house.

I would recommend this and already have! A friend at work needed a new printer and I was so impressed by this one - I convinced her to buy one too. It's really easy and quick to use, with great results too... only one hic-up we both found was in getting started, when you register it asks for a zip-code and just will not accept a UK post-code, but got over that in the end by just skipping that part and entering nothing. Now it's up and running just fine - wireless printing and sending scans - great!

What a great buy. The printer does exactly as claimed at a smashing price and personally I found the wireless setup took only a matter of minutes. Great value from HP.
