Sharpened knife cut through lime like butter

I never want to use the knives from my knife block for small jobs and have these cheapy go-to knives I use all the time and love. I’ll replace them when they go dull, so I have a drawer full of unused knives. I got this sharpener as a gift about a month ago and decided to test it out on one of the dull, Asian paring knives I have. After pulling the knife through both sides of the first slot, my knife was able to cut through a lime like butter! Love how easy it was to use too.

Sharpens precisely, quietly and consistently. To use correctly takes a bit of practice but is worth it. Read the directions!

Sharpening wheels not spinning (?)

Got this as a gift, read the instructions, but when I turn on the power switch it makes a hum, but the sharpening wheels do not move. Seems defective. Watched a video of someone using the same sharpener and yea, his works perfectly. Maybe I got a bad one.

Great for sharpening non fineness cheap knives .
I have VG 10 blade knives that the metal is to soft for this grinder
After sharpening it then polishing on a 8000 grit stone the knife ,it still was micro rough
Not recommend for high end knives .

Sharp Knives

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This knife sharpener is amazing. It has helped to revive some of my dullest knives. Many of my knives are old and have become very dull over the years. I've tried a sharpening steel before but it would not adequately sharpen my knives and they would become more dull than before. I love that this knife sharpener is electric and motorized. It does a fantastic job at sharpening my old knives. It is important to read the manual to get the machine properly set up. The manual is helpful and easy to follow.

Simple to use and keeps my knives in great shape!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sharpener is user friendly and gets the knives sharp with just a few swipes. Angle guides automatically hold your knife at the correct and constant sharpening angle. It can sharpen both 15- and 20-degree class knives and even serrated knives, something many other sharpeners can't do. It also has non-slip feet beneath to help keep the unit in place while you're using it. So far, my knives stay sharp for at least a couple of months after sharpening with this sharpener. I cannot speak to the longevity of the machine or how it holds up, since I've only used it once, but my first impressions are great.

Great knife sharpener

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sharpened a bunch of old knives we had that had been dull for a long time. Easy to use. Amazed at how much sharper they were than with my manual sharpener. Process is quick about 5 to 10 minutes per knife depending on how dull it was. (Most took about 5 minutes) not too loud. Doesn’t take up too much room. Looking forward to sharpening more knives (read: joy to use- going to sharpen every blade in the house just cause I can- and then bring it to my relatives house to sharpen all their knives)
