Great product until the nonstick coating starts to peel off, despite being used as directed in the instruction manual.

This is my first pizzelle machine.
I am now looking for one that has an adjustable thermostat with a lid safety feature
The lid falls down very easily on this model.
I moved the maker closer to me and the top lid smashed my thumb leaving my nail extremely bruised.

This is exactly what I wanted. Makes great pizzelles and so easy to clean. Nothing sticks! I do have birds, so I heated the iron, left open, in the garage before using it inside. I left it on for about an hour. Birds cannot handle PTFE fumes and will die, so be careful if you have small animals. All was fine when I brought it into the kitchen. Love it!

I wanted a really great pizzelle maker that would last. I used to make these italian cookies every christmas with my Mother and I want to carry on that tradition with my kids. So far i've used it once and I couldn't be happier. Evenly cooked yummy pizzelles, with no issues of sticking or burning. I tried one set with a non stick cooking spray but then stopped because I realized I didn't need it. The non-stick surface was great on it's own. Very happy!
